You think you can come into my life and say all those rude things to my family members? No. You can’t do that. Your one of the two people I hate in this world. You’ve been talking so much shit about dad’s tattoo shop, my brother Shane and his girlfriend, using my niece to get whatever you want, and you are making my brother leave/turn his back on his family. How do you think your a good wife when you can’t even take care of your own child. You have no job, no motivation to do anything, your disrespectful to all of my family and you still think that you are welcome into my life? Nobody wants you to be around them because all you do is complain about every single thing. Your a worthless person. I can’t believe my own brother married someone like you and had a child with you. Every time you come into my house I don’t even want to look at you let alone hear your voice. I probably won’t even get to see my brother at my graduation. You control every single thing he does. You just make me sick. But you try to diss me about not “having fun” with my life when I’m young. Little do you know I don’t need to be getting drunk all the time, smoking weed, or having sex just to be having fun. Your trying to tell me that I am a loser for not having fun while I’m young. I’m probably a loser but guess what, I’d rather be a loser than like you any day.
I’m honestly glad that I won’t see half of the people I go to school with after I graduate on Saturday. But I do love my senior class.

Any and all music lovers have a go-to song that inspires us or gives us a swift kick in the ass when we really need it.
Me…I have an entire playlist.
But lately, my go-to song has been Def Leppard’s Rock of Ages.
Most people wouldn’t expect that from me….not that I really give a shit about what most people expect from me. There is a reason that this song motivates me and it started with a television show.
I just got into Supernatural a few months ago. But there was this scene in an episode called “Swan Song” where big brother Dean pulls his Impala into a cemetery and stops. He inserts a cassette and this song begins to play.
That scene stuck with me for a couple of reasons, besides the obvious that Rock of Ages is a great song, but Dean the BAMF was playing this song as he drove into a cemetery to HELP HIS LITTLE BROTHER DEFEAT THE DEVIL.
I know it’s just a tv show, but that moment was so prolific to me. The devil is real and continuously tries to defeat me. To drag me down, tell me I’m not good enough.
When I pulled this song up on my ipod,I wasn’t having a “what would Dean do” moment. I was just opening my notebook to work on a book that should have been done already.
When the song started, the scene from Swan Song came back to me and I smiled. This was the song that played while he was on his way to DEFEAT THE DEVIL.
Since then, before I open up my notebook or WIP, I play Rock of Ages. It’s similar to when Low Rider plays in Gone in 60 Seconds. It energizes me and gets me focused at the task at hand.
Defeating my own devil.

My work day consisted of dancing around like a fool and singing the only two lines that I know from this song.
